OUR STORY

Red Stella is the vision turned reality of the longtime stylist-client team comprised of Alisha Jurkevicz and Terri White. The duo envisioned a new kind of salon where professionals could collaborate and inspire each other, and where in-house education is accessible year- round for all stylists to continue to hone their skills and stay afloat on latest industry trends and techniques. Combining the Italian word for “star” and the color that captures the pair’s passion for the art of hairdressing, Red Stella opened its doors and has since become the pillar in the Austin hairdressing community because of the stylists’ dedication to their craft.

The salon has been featured in Austin Monthly Magazine, Creative Woman Magazine and has appeared on KEYE’s We Are Austin morning show more than 10 times to showcase their hair and beauty expertise. The team has also been called on multiple times to join Kerastase and Oribe for their hair styling expertise at New York Fashion Week, and their stylists also frequently participate in hair competitions, Austin Fashion Week and has their editorial work  frequently published in numerous magazines.
