Since Alisha was 12 years old she knew her passion was hair. After a short Ballet career dancing summers at Joffery Ballet, Boston Ballet, and a season with Contemporary Ballet Dallas, she knew she had to pursue her dream of becoming a hair stylist and plunged into the world of beauty. In 2006 while still in Beauty School she won “First Place” and “People’s Choice” at Austin’s Style cup hair competition. Since then, Alisha has worked on numerous editorial shoots, weddings, local fashion shows, the New York Fashion Week team with Kerastase and Oribe, also winning 2 Regionals & making National Finalist twice for Sebastion’s What’s Next Awards, as well as top 20 for Wella’s National Trendvision hair competition. She feels that by entering these competitions and being apart of these teams, pushes her outside her comfort zone to grow creatively and makes her a better stylist behind the chair.
Education & Training

- Master Classes at LBP Studios, Miami with Garren, Tom Priano, & Robert Vasquez.
- Wella Studio NYC & LA: Master Colorist Expert 5 pre-reqs, MCE Phase One, MCE Phase Two. 3 years to complete. Graduated Master Color Expert 3/1/2018
- Vidal Sassoon Academy, Santa Monica – 5 day ABC color and cut course.
- Oribe national shows and training – La Fama and Front Row.
- Advanced styling training with Oribe Top Artists Ronnie Stam, Adam Livermore, & Kien Hoang.
- Advanced balayage classes by renowned Artist Ashlee Norman.
- Redken intensive with Leah Hanson.
- Goldwell color courses in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.
- 2010 Intercoiffure Miami Hair Show – classes with the legendary Vivienne Mackinder & color guru Gina Kahn.
- Hands on education with Kerastase, System Professional, R+co, Oribe, Sebastion, Bumble & Bumble, and Unite to name a few.
Alisha is trained in the Jose Luis Buitron cutting method and is known for her bright perfect Reds, dimensional Brunettes, and seamless Balayage placements.
Wanting to be surrounded by likeminded and ambitious stylists, Alisha decided to take the plunge and open her own salon in 2012 hand picking her dream team. She takes pride in making sure advanced education is in place on a monthly basis, along with offering and providing top of the line Hair Care and Skin Care products. You will always find Team Stella involved in Austin Fashion Week, local fashion shows, New York Fashion Week, and spot their work in and on the covers of magazines. Many members of Team Stella also make regional finals and national finals in Hair competitions for Wella and Sebastian. Alisha feels she has achieved her goal in designing Red Stella with an eclectic fun vibe making it a place where Austinites can get quality services without the “stuffiness’ of a high-end salon. “I love collaborating and working along side my talented team, I feel very blessed getting to share my hair & makeup love affair with others on a daily basis.”
